The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree

A friend once told me that a very creatively, talented and very tasteful friend of hers said "There are no degrees of taste. You either have it or you don't."

I often wonder if my children will have taste.  I try to show P as much art, in its various forms, as I can.  My husband and I also have many books ranging in topics like photography, graphic design, interior design, architecture, etc.  P seems to be interested in all of them, in particular this pop-up architecture book. So far so good....right?

D and I always joke that P could end up liking Victorian or some frilly crap and he and I will hold each other back from comments and really, really try to let her be her. Mirm, remind me I said this ok!
